What is CVE-2019-3982?

A Denial of Service vulnerability exists in Nessus versions 8.6.0 and earlier due to insufficient validation of certain imported scan types. An authenticated remote attacker may exploit this flaw, leading to temporary unresponsiveness of the Nessus scanner, causing disruptions in vulnerability assessments and potentially delaying security-related tasks.
