What is CVE-2019-5063?

An exploitable heap buffer overflow exists in the data structure persistence functionality of OpenCV 4.1.0. When processing a specifically crafted XML file, this vulnerability can lead to buffer overflow issues, causing multiple heap corruptions. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by providing specially crafted input, which may result in unintended code execution and compromise the integrity of the affected system.
