What is CVE-2019-5171?
A command injection vulnerability exists in the I/O-Check function of the iocheckd service within the WAGO PFC 200 Firmware version 03.02.02(14). This flaw allows attackers to send specially crafted packets that manipulate the hostname value extracted from an XML file. By using this value as an argument in the configuration interface, an attacker could potentially execute arbitrary commands, posing serious risks to the integrity and security of the network environment.
