Summary

A command injection vulnerability exists in the iocheckd service's I/O-Check function within WAGO PFC 200 Firmware. Malicious actors can exploit this flaw by sending a specially crafted XML cache file that is processed by the device. Once the cache is triggered for parsing, an attacker can execute arbitrary operating system commands. The exploit manipulates system calls, putting sensitive configurations at risk and allowing unauthorized control over device functionalities.
