What is CVE-2019-7244?
A vulnerability has been identified in the kerneld.sys driver of AIDA64, prior to version 5.99, that improperly handles the wrmsr instruction through the IOCTL 0x80112084 interface. This flaw allows for arbitrary writes to Model Specific Registers (MSRs), enabling potential attackers to execute code in Ring-0, which can lead to escalation of privileges and various security implications.
