What is CVE-2019-8460?

The OpenBSD kernel, in versions up to 6.5, is susceptible to a vulnerability where it can be manipulated to produce extensive chains of TCP SACK holes. This behavior results in costly calls to the tcp_sack_option() function for each incoming SACK packet, which can significantly degrade system performance and lead to denial of service conditions, potentially disrupting network services.
