This is achieved through a specially crafted request that manipulates the invocation of the app's functions, utilizing the system command to perform malicious actions. Products utilizing affected versions of ThinkPHP, such as Open Source BMS v1.1.1, are at risk, potentially exposing sensitive system functions to attackers.
