What is CVE-2019-9629?
The Sonatype Nexus Repository Manager suffered from a security flaw due to the use of weak default administrator credentials. Prior to version 3.17.0, the application established a default admin account with fixed credentials, which could be easily exploited. This vulnerability posed a significant risk as it allowed attackers to gain unauthorized access and potentially compromise sensitive artifacts stored within the repository.
