What is CVE-2019-9648?

A directory traversal vulnerability has been identified in the SFTP Server component of Core FTP version 2.0 Build 674. By exploiting this flaw, an attacker can employ the SIZE command in combination with a '....' substring to traverse directories. This allows unauthorized users to enumerate files within the system, based on the returned information regarding file existence. Proper validation and sanitization of input are necessary to mitigate such vulnerabilities.
