What is CVE-2019-9697?

The information disclosure vulnerability in the Management Center REST API versions 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2 prior to version 2.2.2.1 poses a significant security risk. An attacker with authenticated access can exploit this flaw to retrieve sensitive passwords associated with external backup and CPL policy import servers. This breach of confidentiality allows unauthorized users to gain access to critical information they should not have, potentially leading to further exploitation.
