What is CVE-2020-10125?

NCR SelfServ ATMs running specific versions of APTRA XFS utilize 512-bit RSA certificates to authenticate software updates for bunch note acceptors. However, if an attacker gains physical access to the ATM, they can potentially exploit this vulnerability within a short timeframe. This access allows them to manipulate software updates and bypass application whitelisting, resulting in the execution of arbitrary code on the ATM. The implications can be severe, as it could enable unauthorized access and modification of ATM operations.
