What is CVE-2020-10546?
The vulnerability in rConfig versions up to 3.9.4 permits unauthenticated SQL injection through the compliancepolicies.inc.php file. This flaw enables unauthorized users to manipulate the database, leading to potential exposure of sensitive information. Notably, since nodes' passwords are stored in cleartext by default, successful exploitation of this vulnerability allows attackers to perform lateral movements within the network, thereby gaining access to monitored devices and posing significant risks to network integrity.
