What is CVE-2020-10549?

rConfig versions prior to 3.9.4 are vulnerable to an unauthenticated SQL injection in the snippets.inc.php file. This security issue arises from the inadequate handling of user inputs, which can allow an attacker to execute malicious SQL queries. As nodes are configured to store passwords in plain text by default, exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized access to sensitive information, potentially enabling lateral movement within the network and unauthorized access to monitored network devices.
