What is CVE-2020-10612?
The vulnerability in Opto 22 SoftPAC allows an attacker with network access to exploit an open communication port (22000) used by SoftPACAgent and SoftPACMonitor. This unrestricted access can lead to unauthorized control over the SoftPACAgent service, enabling the attacker to update firmware, start or stop the service, or write to sensitive registry values. This poses a significant risk to the integrity and functionality of the SoftPAC system.
