What is CVE-2020-10810?

A vulnerability within the HDF5 library permits a NULL pointer dereference in the function H5AC_unpin_entry() found in H5AC.c. This flaw can be exploited by an attacker to trigger a Denial of Service, potentially impacting the availability and stability of systems using affected versions of the HDF5 library.
