What is CVE-2020-10863?

A security concern has been identified in Avast Antivirus prior to version 20, where the aswTask RPC endpoint within the Avast Service (AvastSvc.exe) can be exploited. This flaw permits attackers operating from a Low Integrity process to initiate a shutdown procedure via a command known as TempShutDownMachine.
