What is CVE-2020-10932?

A vulnerability in Arm Mbed TLS permits skilled attackers to exploit side-channel measurements to recover long-term ECDSA private keys. By manipulating the conversion processes involved in scalar multiplication and utilizing a known attack methodology, adversaries can gather enough data to extract the private key. The threat is particularly acute in scenarios where attackers have full control over an untrusted operating system and are targeting secure enclaves.
