CVE-2020-10973
What is CVE-2020-10973?
A vulnerability exists in select Wavlink wireless routers that allows unauthorized access to the device's current configuration through a crafted POST request. This access enables attackers to retrieve sensitive information, including the administrator password, without requiring any form of authentication. Although a decryption step is necessary, the information needed to perform this decryption is easily obtainable. This flaw poses a significant risk to users, as it can lead to unauthorized control over network settings.
