What is CVE-2020-11650?
A vulnerability exists in iXsystems FreeNAS and TrueNAS versions prior to 11.2-u8 and 11.3-U1 that exposes the authentication component to potential denial of service attacks. This is due to the lack of restrictions on the length of authentication messages and the rate of message submissions, allowing attackers to overwhelm the system and disrupt services.
