What is CVE-2020-12691?

A vulnerability in OpenStack Keystone allows any authenticated user to create their own EC2 credential for a project, provided they have a specified role. The issue arises when users can update credential details, enabling them to impersonate other users, including those with admin privileges. This could allow a malicious user to gain unauthorized access and perform actions at an administrative level, significantly compromising the security of the project.
