What is CVE-2020-12933?

A denial of service vulnerability exists within the D3DKMTEscape handler of the AMD ATIKMDAG.SYS driver. This issue allows an attacker to execute specially crafted D3DKMTEscape API requests, resulting in an out-of-bounds read in the Windows OS kernel memory area. Importantly, this vulnerability can be exploited by a non-privileged account, posing a risk to system stability and performance.
