The EdnaReporting component is susceptible to unauthenticated SQL injection attacks through the 'AttFilterValue' parameter in the 'ednareporting.asmx' endpoint. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted SOAP requests, leading to potential data compromise. As a result, unauthorized individuals can manipulate database queries and gain access to sensitive information without authentication.
