What is CVE-2020-14074?

TRENDnet TEW-827DRU devices through version 2.06B04 are susceptible to a stack-based buffer overflow in the ssi binary. This vulnerability can be exploited by an authenticated user who sends a POST request to apply.cgi via the action kick_ban_wifi_mac_allow, using a crafted qcawifi.wifi0_vap0.maclist key of excessive length. Successful exploitation could result in arbitrary code execution on the device, posing significant security risks.
