What is CVE-2020-15008?

A SQL Injection vulnerability affects the probe code in Connectwise Automate prior to version 2020.7 and in version 2019.12. This weakness arises due to insufficient server-side validation when handling user-supplied table names. Consequently, attackers can manipulate the input to execute arbitrary SQL commands, potentially leading to full data extraction via methods like timing attacks. To safeguard against this vulnerability, especially in dynamic SQL environments, upgrading to the patched versions is strongly recommended.
