What is CVE-2020-15365?
LibRaw, prior to version 0.20-Beta3, contains an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the parse_exif() function located in metadata/exif_gps.cpp. This vulnerability occurs due to the mishandling of an unrecognized AtomName, along with a zero value for tiff_nifds. Exploitation of this flaw may allow attackers to manipulate memory, leading to potential application crashes or execution of arbitrary code.
