What is CVE-2020-15528?

An issue was identified in GOG Galaxy Client version 2.0.17 that allows local privilege escalation. This vulnerability arises from weak file permissions and the absence of file integrity checks during game installation or uninstallation. As a result, an unauthorized user could manipulate files and gain elevated access that could compromise system integrity.
