What is CVE-2020-15689?

Appweb versions prior to 7.2.2 and 8.x before 8.1.0 are susceptible to a denial of service condition. When built with CGI support, the server mishandles HTTP requests that contain a Range header without a specified range. This flaw can lead to a NULL pointer dereference, potentially causing the application to crash and leading to service disruption.
