What is CVE-2020-15772?

A vulnerability was detected in Gradle Enterprise that arises during the configuration process with a SAML identity provider. An administrator can upload an XML metadata file, which is then processed by the server. This processing does not properly handle XML External Entities (XXE). Consequently, a remote attacker with administrative credentials can exploit this flaw, leading to unauthorized server-side request forgery, potentially accessing sensitive internal resources.
