What is CVE-2020-16288?
A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the pj_common_print_page() function of the GhostScript application, specifically in the devices/gdevpjet.c file. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by crafting a malicious PDF file. When processed by GhostScript v9.50, this could lead to a denial of service condition. The issue has been addressed in GhostScript version 9.51, which mitigates the risk of exploitation.
