What is CVE-2020-16293?

A null pointer dereference vulnerability in the function compose_group_nonknockout_nonblend_isolated_allmask_common() found in base/gxblend.c of GhostScript v9.50 enables remote attackers to trigger a denial of service when processing specially crafted PDF files. This issue was addressed in the subsequent release, v9.51, providing users with important security improvements.
