What is CVE-2020-16296?

A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the GetNumWrongData() function within the contrib/lips4/gdevlips.c file of GhostScript version 9.50. This weakness allows a remote attacker to potentially trigger a denial of service condition by supplying a specially crafted PDF file. The issue has been addressed in version 9.51.
