What is CVE-2020-16839?

A flaw exists in the Crestron DigitalMedia devices DM-NVX-DIR, DM-NVX-DIR80, and DM-NVX-ENT, where an unauthenticated user can change the device password by sending specially crafted WebSocket requests. This exploitation can lead to unauthorized access and control over the affected devices if not patched. Users are recommended to update their firmware to the latest version DM-XIO/1-0-3-802 to mitigate this vulnerability.
