What is CVE-2020-17387?

This vulnerability in the Marvell QConvergeConsole 5.5.0.64 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations. The flaw is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied paths in the writeObjectToConfigFile method of the GWTTestServiceImpl class, leading to the possibility of bypassing authentication mechanisms. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to run code with SYSTEM privileges, compromising the integrity of the host system.
