What is CVE-2020-17421?
A flaw has been identified in Foxit Studio Photo version 3.6.6.922, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by exploiting improper validation of NEF files. To execute the exploit, the target must either visit a malicious webpage or open a contaminated file. This vulnerability arises from the insufficient validation of user-supplied data, potentially leading to a write past the end of an allocated structure, enabling an attacker to run code in the context of the current process.
