What is CVE-2020-19049?

An XSS vulnerability exists in MyBB version 1.8.20 that enables remote attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts or HTML into the application. This exploitation occurs through the 'Description' field found on the 'Add New Forum' page. By sending a crafted authenticated POST request to '/Upload/admin/index.php?module=forum-management&action=add', an attacker can manipulate the web environment, leading to unauthorized actions or data exposure.
