What is CVE-2020-2097?
The Jenkins Sounds Plugin version 0.5 and earlier contains a vulnerability that allows unauthorized users with Overall/Read access to execute arbitrary operating system commands. This occurs due to a failure to implement proper permission checks in URLs responsible for form validation. Attackers can leverage this flaw to execute commands as the Jenkins server's user account, posing significant security risks to environments that utilize this plugin.
