What is CVE-2020-2243?

The Cadence vManager Plugin for Jenkins, prior to version 3.0.4, is susceptible to a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This issue arises because the plugin does not appropriately escape build descriptions in tooltips. As a result, attackers possessing Run/Update permissions can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious scripts. Such scripts could execute in the context of the user's session, posing significant security risks to affected systems.
