What is CVE-2020-23171?

A vulnerability exists in all versions of Nim-lang that allows unauthenticated attackers to write files to arbitrary directories when they send a crafted zip file containing dot-slash characters in the file name. This can lead to unauthorized file system changes, potentially compromising the security of affected systems.
