What is CVE-2020-24660?

An access control bypass vulnerability has been identified in LemonLDAP::NG when deployed alongside NGINX. An attacker can exploit this issue by submitting a non-normalized URI, which allows them to bypass URL-based access control measures to gain unauthorized access to protected Virtual Hosts. Additionally, this vulnerability extends to the 'Lemonldap::NG handler for Node.js' package, affecting versions prior to 0.5.2. Users are advised to update to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
