What is CVE-2020-24698?

An issue in PowerDNS Authoritative versions up to 4.3.0 allows remote, unauthenticated attackers to exploit a double-free vulnerability. This can be triggered by sending specially crafted queries that include a GSS-TSIG signature. Successful exploitation may result in a crash of the service or possibly lead to arbitrary code execution, posing significant security risks to affected systems.
