Directory Traversal Vulnerability in Commvault Products
CVE-2020-25780
What is CVE-2020-25780?
In certain versions of Commvault's CommCell, a Directory Traversal vulnerability exists that allows an attacker to access files outside of the designated log-files directory. This occurs when an unauthorized attempt is made to view log files, potentially exposing sensitive information that should remain protected. Versions prior to 14.68, and several release lines within 15.x to 18.x are particularly affected.
