What is CVE-2020-25798?

A stored cross-site scripting flaw in LimeSurvey prior to version 3.21.1 permits authenticated users with appropriate permissions to inject arbitrary JavaScript or HTML via the 'ParticipantAttributeNamesDropdown' parameter on the central participant database page. When administrative users edit or view the survey attributes, the injected script executes in their browsers, potentially leading to unauthorized actions or data exposure.
