What is CVE-2020-26941?

A local low-privileged user can exploit a flaw in the ESET installer during installation to achieve arbitrary file overwrites. This vulnerability arises due to insecure permissions and requires that Self-Defense is disabled for it to be exploited. It primarily affects specific versions of ESET products, enabling potential unauthorized access during the critical installation phase.
