What is CVE-2020-27976?
A remote OS command injection vulnerability exists in osCommerce Phoenix CE prior to version 1.0.5.4. This flaw is located in the admin/mail.php file, where an attacker can exploit the application by sending crafted POST requests containing malicious input to the 'from' parameter. This manipulation can adversely affect the PHP mail function and specifically the sendmail -f option, potentially allowing attackers to execute arbitrary commands on the server.
