What is CVE-2020-28736?
Earlier versions of Plone, specifically prior to 5.2.3, are susceptible to XML External Entity (XXE) attacks. This vulnerability arises from a feature restricted by an unapplied permission related to plone.schemaeditor.ManageSchemata, making it accessible solely to users with Manager role permissions. If exploited, attackers could potentially access sensitive information or affect the application’s behavior by manipulating XML input.
