What is CVE-2020-29659?

A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the web server component of Flexense DupScout Enterprise version 10.0.18. This flaw allows a remote, unauthorized attacker to exploit the sid parameter through a crafted GET request directed at the /settings endpoint. Successful exploitation may lead to execution of arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges, presenting significant risks to affected systems.
