Summary
A vulnerability within the Data-Loss-Prevention (DLP) module of Clam AntiVirus allows unauthenticated remote attackers to trigger a denial of service condition by exploiting an out-of-bounds read. Users with the optional DLP feature enabled could experience a crash in the ClamAV scanning process when a specially crafted email file is sent to an affected device. This malfunction may lead to significant disruptions in the anti-virus operations.
