What is CVE-2020-35129?
Mautic versions prior to 3.2.4 suffer from a vulnerability that enables stored XSS attacks through the Social Monitoring feature. An attacker able to exploit this flaw could embed external JavaScript, compromising the accounts of other users, including those with administrative privileges. This could lead to unauthorized actions such as changing passwords, altering email addresses, or elevating their own role from a low-privileged user to an administrator. Immediate action is recommended to safeguard sensitive user data and maintain platform integrity.
