What is CVE-2020-36857?
Nagios XI versions before 5.6.14 contain a post-authentication SQL injection vulnerability specifically within the SNMP Trap Interface page. Attackers with administrative privileges can exploit this flaw by submitting crafted input that circumvents proper sanitization processes, potentially leading to unauthorized access, disclosure, or modification of sensitive application data. Such exploitation may also allow attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands on the backend database, posing significant security risks.
