Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability in Nagios Log Server
CVE-2020-36858
5.1MEDIUM
What is CVE-2020-36858?
Nagios Log Server versions earlier than 2.1.6 are susceptible to cross-site scripting vulnerabilities through their web interface. These flaws occur on the Create User, Edit User, and Manage Host Lists pages due to insufficient input validation or escaping of user-supplied data. This allows an attacker to inject and potentially execute arbitrary scripts in the context of a victim’s browser, which can lead to unauthorized access or data manipulation.
